Website Feature: Resource Links

Near the right side of the extreme top menu, is a link called “Resource Links”. This link takes you to the Resource Links page which contains a long list of websites external to St Mark. Click on any website name on the Resource Links page to get to a website. Many of the sites which have a close connection to a subject on other St Mark pages also have links on those other pages. However, more than half of the links on the Resource Links page exist nowhere else on the St Mark website. If you remember seeing a link to an external website somewhere on the St Mark website, you have an extremely good chance of finding it also on this page. These websites contain additional information, references, and “resources” which may be of interest to St Mark members.

The list is organized into 15 sections and contains approximately 100 links to external websites. A list of the 15 sections follows:

  • ELCA Offices
  • Local Churches and Ministries
  • Radio Ministry
  • Magazines
  • Helping Others
  • Advocating for Social Justice
  • Helping Self and Family
  • Helping the Earth
  • Fellowship Activities
  • Bible Resources
  • Learning and Literature
  • ELCA Seminaries
  • Lutheran Colleges and Universities
  • Christian Recording Artists
  • Camps and Retreat Centers

General interest sections are at the top, followed by charities, learning, and finally sections of more specialized interest. Many of the sections and individual listings are common to other ELCA churches. The list is optimized for things Lutheran and things in Thurston County, but after all, that is who we are. However, it is not limited to those two subjects.

The above list of sections also appears on the Resource Links page right-hand-sidebar, and clicking on any of those 15 sections in the sidebar takes you directly to that section.
