429 pounds of produce to The Thurston County Food Bank!

Our St. Mark Community Garden continues to be very productive!  Brent and daughter Zoie went to the Food Bank on a Friday to see how the produce is provided to those using the Food Bank.  He found a most beautiful produce department.  Here are some pictures of the produce available to folks in Thurston County who need the Food Bank.

To date, we have sent 429 pounds to food, and the potatoes will be harvested next month.  The potatoes are still growing as they got a late start due to the cold spring.  We have not set a date yet, BUT KEEP YOUR SATURDAYS  OPEN THE LAST TWO SATURDAYS IN OCTOBER!  We are also looking for a small crew to do a test dig and harvest mid-October.  This is to help ensure the actual harvest will go smoothly.
