Our Talented Music Staff

We are delighted to highlight and introduce our talented St. Mark Music Staff–Terry Shaw, Rae Corbin, and Leah Wilson!

Terry Shaw (pictured on the right) is our Music Director.  Terry has extensive experience with different styles of music, choirs of all ages, and teaching a variety of subjects.  As our Music Director, Terry oversees our Chancel Choir, ensembles, and special music for worship.  Terry also teaches at Timberline High School (choir and PE), coaches football at Rainier High School, and directs the Olympia Choral Society.  We appreciate Terry’s passion for music and the way he inspires us to “make a joyful noise to the Lord!”

Rae Corbin (pictured on the left) is our Accompanist.  Rae has served at St. Mark, playing the organ and piano, for over 30 years!  She began playing for church services when she was 12 years old.  Rae is a gifted accompanist for worship, congregational singing, the Chancel Choir, and special musicians.  We give thanks to God for Rae’s talent and faithful service to St. Mark.

Leah Wilson (pictured in the middle) is our newest staff member.  She serves as St. Mark’s Bell Choir Director.  Leah is no stranger to congregational bell choirs.  She also conducts choirs at three other local churches and a community choir.  Leah feels blessed to be able to do what she loves and we feel blessed to have her at St. Mark!
