God is with each of us no matter what.

Do you remember the TV show ‘Fear Factor’ where people had to compete against each other and face their fears?
What makes you feel afraid? How often do you make decisions based on a fear? Fear motivates us in different ways and it can be crippling. Fear can keep us from living fully as God intends us to live.
Pastor Beth spoke of Joseph being afraid of marrying Mary after the angel of the Lord had spoken to him. Today’s Gospel, Matthew 1:18-25, tells the story of what the angel told Joseph in his dream. Joseph was not to be afraid because God was with him.
God is with each of us no matter what. God always works in real unexpected ways with power and grace.
We don’t know where this journey in faith will take us but we do know that God is with us.
