Youth Music Groups

Holy Commotion! Children’s Choir

Children’s Choir begins Sept 21, 2011. Our children’s choir (children in 1st through 6th Grade) meets for rehearsal on Wednesday afternoons from 3:45-4:30 p.m. throughout the school year and participates at least once a month in worship in each service. We also play or sing occasionally with the adult groups in special events and worship services.

Youth Chorus

Youth Chorus begins Sept 21, 2011. Youth Chorus is for 7th thru 12th graders. This group meets weekly on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30-5:15. We sing for worship about once a month at each service, sing with the Chancel Choir, and share our instrumental talents as well.

Solos and Small Ensembles

There are many in our congregation who may or may not participate in our formal musical groups here at St. Mark but are interested in sharing their vocal and instrumental gifts through solos and small ensembles. All are invited and encouraged to contact our Minister of Music, Kerstin, either now or in the future for scheduling these into our worship services or other events.
