Jesus Is Calling

The first chapter of the Gospel of St. Mark tells of Jesus calling out to others to leave what they are doing and follow him. On this 3rd Sunday after Epiphany, Pastor Eric shared some of the different ways that Jesus has called out to him throughout his life, beginning as a child at Camano Chapel through his serving here at St. Mark Lutheran. Pastor also used song verses from Jesus Loves Me, Thy Word is a Lamp Unto My Feet, Come to the Table, and Softly Tenderly Come Home to illustrate the many ways Jesus calls us to follow him.

Pastor Eric’s sermon reminds us that we are all together, right here, right now; and Jesus is calling us…“Will you come and follow me if I but call your name?” He is calling you…and you…and you… Do you hear him?
