St. Mark is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. As ELCA Christians, we believe God’s love and grace are for everyone. God welcomes everyone, no matter what. At St. Mark, we seek to live out this generous welcome we receive from God.
We believe Jesus lived among us. Through his life, death, and resurrection, Christ reveals the good news of God’s life giving, eternal love. This good news gives us hope in our daily lives and hope beyond our last breath.
Through the Holy Spirit, God inspires, calls, and equips us to love one another as God loves us. We seek to love and serve our neighbors with compassion and to strive for justice and peace for all people and for all of creation. Together, we continue to learn how to live as people of faith in our world today.
