Hello Again Tony & Diane B

When asked “Where did you grow up?”, Tony B replied, “I refuse to grow up!” And Diane agreed! This is a good example of the open and engaging personalities of returning St. Mark members Tony and Diane B.

Tony finally confessed he spent his pre-teen years in Arizona, the Mojave Desert, and high school years in Eastern Washington in the Columbia basin. Diane spent her early childhood in Alaska, then moved to Washington as a teenager. She lived in Centralia, but mostly grew up in Olympia near the state capital.

Diane worked as a schoolteacher on the Olympic Peninsula, in the town of Forks, and in Olympia. Tony worked in public health in Washington and Alaska, and with the Department of Ecology in Washington. Tony and Diane are both currently retired.

The B’s have four children and eight grandchildren, and are fortunate to have them all living here in the Olympia area.

Tony enjoys skiing, hiking, woodworking, sightseeing, reading fiction novels, playing with the grandkids, and general puttering. Diane enjoys sewing, walks, playing with grandkids and bible studies with good friends.

Tony and Diane have been active members of St. Mark since 1975, except for the six years they recently spent living and working in Alaska. Shortly after their recent return to Olympia WA, they renewed their membership with St. Mark and “didn’t skip a beat” becoming actively involved in many aspects of church life. Tony and Diane have been important and valuable members of the St. Mark family, and have picked up right where they left off six years ago.

Tony and Diane B…We are grateful to have you back!
