Introduction

This page refers to the status of classes offered during the pre-pandemic period. The times, dates, locations, leaders, and even existence of these classes during the pandemic and post-pandemic period may be entirely different. Some of these classes may be live, some may be zoom only, and some may be hybrid live and zoom. Check with the church office or pastors for the current status of these classes.

Sunday Morning Pastor’s Class

Sunday Morning Pastor’s Class meets on Sunday mornings in the St Mark lounge. In spite of the name of this class, various individuals have served as leaders. All are welcome.  These classes are a great review for those who have been in the church for awhile and those who are newer to faith. Each session stands on its own – so you can drop in any time. Please come to this time of watching and discussion.

Join us as we view and discuss various DVD series each Sunday Morning.

Sunday Morning Women’s Study Group

Sunday Morning Women’s Study Group meets at St. Mark in room #9 of the education wing.

Women of all ages are welcome to join in studying various books. It is not necessary to purchase the book in order to attend the class – there are always plenty available. Grab a beverage and snack from the parish hall and join us for 45 minutes of fellowship, humor-filled reading, scripture study, and prayer time.

Lighten your load as you step ahead in faith.

Tuesday Morning Pastors’ Study Class

The Tuesday Morning Pastor’s Study Class meets in the St Mark lounge. Various formats are used. Sometimes DVD series are viewed. Sometimes books of the Bible are read. Sometimes other material is read. All sessions are followed by a group discussion.  This class is led by Pastor Eric. Everyone is welcome. Coffee, tea, cookies, learning, and lively discussion are provided. This class has not met since before the pandemic.

The Gathering Women’s Bible Study

At various times, we have had one or two gather groups at St Mark – one during the day and one in the evening. These study groups use the Gather study from the Women of the ELCA Gather Magazine. You can still come even if you do not receive the publication. Various women will lead.

Day (Second Thursday/month) at 11:30am in the lounge (bring your own lunch)

Evening (First Monday/month) at 6:30pm in the lounge.  Dinner is provided.
