Our St. Mark Community Garden continues to be very productive! Brent and daughter Zoie went to the Food Bank on a Friday to see how the produce is provided to those using the Food Bank. He found a most beautiful produce department.
To date, we have sent 429 pounds to food, and the potatoes will be harvested next month. The potatoes are still growing as they got a late start due to the cold spring. We have not set a date yet, BUT KEEP YOUR SATURDAYS OPEN THE LAST TWO SATURDAYS IN OCTOBER! We are also looking for a small crew to do a test dig and harvest mid-October. This is to help ensure the actual harvest will go smoothly.
