Between services this next Sunday, May 22nd, there will be a short garden blessing ceremony. The Sunday School children will plant the seedlings that they have started in their Sunday School classes. Please come out to the garden between services (you might want to bring appropriate shoes!) and help us bless this sacred ground.
The Community Garden this year consists of 26 raised beds, a 6,000 sq foot potato patch and several Oregon Sugar Pod peas planted in tall metal cages.
We are still looking for folks to “Adopt a Row” of potatoes for weeding and harvesting, so please let the church office know if you can help out! Look for announcements of educational events and weeding parties and potlucks on this website soon!
