The Mountain View administrative team was very happy with our Thanksgiving gifts. We supplied 40 Thanksgiving baskets, 4 hot meal gift certificates, and $350 in grocery gift cards. St. Mark ROCKS!!!!!
We now have three great giving opportunities for Christmas:
“Christmas Stockings for Inmates” 187 pairs of socks have been collected so far – they are for inmates in the county jails in the area. Place new all-white socks in the laundry basket near the Parish Hall by December 2nd.
Giving Tree – Pick a name or two from the board in the Narthex, get the gift tag, and shop for a 3-5 year old Head Start child in need of winter clothing items. Return to the church by Sunday December 9th.
Board & Card Game Drive – This is for Mountain View Elementary families having a tough time purchasing presents this Christmas. Place new or gently used (must be in like-new condition) board and card games UNWRAPPED in the container in the Narthex by December 11th.
