Come and join us for a time of prayer and preparation as we lean into anticipation of our Emmanuel being born. We will meet on Wednesdays – December 5, 12, and 19. Potluck dinner will be at 5:45 pm, with prayer and worship to follow at 6:30 pm. We will continue with our tradition of utilizing the Vespers service from Holden, including celebrating communion.
Following worship we will have conversation centered around our theme this season – PRAYER. We will use the Psalms and thoughts from Anne Lamott’s new book “Help, Thanks, Wow: The Three Essential Prayers”, as written resources to help and guide our reflections for our journey. The books are widely available, (both the Psalms and Lamott’s) so all are encouraged to feast on them, beyond what you hear in our time together.
