St. Mark Community Garden spring news

It’s gardening time! Already?!?
2012 marks the fourth growing season for the St. Mark Community Garden.  If you would like to garden with us please download the Application Form and the Garden Guidelines from the Community Garden Web page.  You can find this by clicking on the scrolling banner picture of the garden, or look under the Ways to Serve tab.  Hover with your mouse over the “Ways to Serve” tab and you will see St. Mark Community Garden.  Click on that and download the forms.

With the efforts and support of an entire community, the community garden continues to grow in size and bounty for the Thurston County Food Bank.

Let’s review our progress thus far:
2010 17 raised beds 300+ pounds of produce
2011 27 raised beds 3,000 pounds of produce
2012 47 raised beds 4,569 pounds of produce

The garden fund has been blessed with $1,250 Thrivent Choice Dollars for the 2013 growing season; this money will allow us to purchase a rototiller and additional irrigation supplies.

If you would  like to assist with weeding and gleaning, please contact Gail F.

Please put two important upcoming dates on your calendar. Hope to see you there!
