This Sunday, May 5th, the 2013 St. Mark Community Garden and new garden sign will be blessed. Please join us in the garden between services at 10am. The weather is supposed to be very beautiful and we will have chairs set up in the garden area. John Martin will have his guitar, Pastors Eric and Beth will officiate, and the Sunday School kids will join in!
The lonely acre of land that sat empty for so many years behind our church has turned into a true blessing for our community! We plan to exceed the 5 tons of food we grew for the Thurston County Food Bank in 2012. We now have 17 community gardeners who have adopted one or more of our raised beds. The garden is truly a community resource.
