WOMEN OF THE ELCA (WELCA)
The Southwestern Washington Synodical Women’s Organization (SW WA SWO) convention will be held on October 12-13 at Church of the Good Shepherd in Olympia. This year’s theme is “Sunday People in a Monday World.”
What a wonderful opportunity to meet and have fellowship with other Christian women! Information and registration forms can be found in the SWATCH newsletter, at St. Mark’s Welcome Table, or talk with Dorothy R. (The registration form is on page 7 of the SWATCH newsletter.) With the convention being so nearby this year, this is an excellent opportunity to find out more about this organization.
The women of St. Mark are responsible for the soup dinner on Friday evening. Cooks and helpers for that meal are needed. Dorothy R. of St Mark is coordinating this dinner. Please contact Dorothy if you can help.
