Matthew’s Gospel tells the story of Jesus going into the desert where he fasted for forty days and nights. The devil appeared to him and tempted Jesus a number of times but Jesus rebuffed him every time.

Jesus experienced temptation the same as we do. Jesus responded to his temptations with declaring it’s about God and telling us that this Grace I’m bringing you is forever.
God is always calling us back into the circle to be centered on God’s Grace.
